McVitie's Penguin have developed a long-term commitment to helping the understanding and conservation of penguins. We have developed the campaign name and logo of 'Protect the Penguins' which demonstrates our support of these wonderful and loveable animals!
McVitie's Penguin are committed to supporting the conservation of penguins and their habitats through 'P..P..P.. Protect the Penguins'.
In 2010 our funding helped WWF protect penguins in the Antarctic and supported other WWF conservation work around the world.
In 2011 McVitie's Penguin will donate a further £100,000 to WWF, helping to promote and develop Marine Protected Areas which protect the feeding grounds of penguins in the Southern Ocean, as well as supporting research on the impact of climate change on penguin colonies in Antarctica.
